I used to be on this group when I was 1st diagnosed September 2017 age 34
im Finding hard to focus at the minute,I had my Covid vaccine 3weeks ago today and 2weeks ago found a lump/node on my collarbone it’s moveable,so I rang my BC nurse and I’ve an appointment next Thursday I’m so scared, but I did have my mammogram 2weeks ago and all was clear anyone else had this problem since Covid vaccine?
It’s not on my cancer side it’s on my good side we’re vaccine was done
Hi , sorry you find yourself here especially during these scary times! Having read your post I felt I wanted to just say that from what you’ve said it sounds very likely that the lump is a lymph node that has reacted to the vaccination! Obviously it needs checking and of course it could be related to your previous Cancer, however it would seem strange for it to be on the opposite side to your original diagnosis and especially strange as you only recently had a clear mammogram.
I don’t want to tell you that everything will be fine and it’s definitely not cancer as I don’t know that. However I just felt you might like to hear that from where I’m sitting I think it sounds unlikely.
I really hope your appointment goes well on Thursday. Fingers firmly crossed that they can reassure you/give you answers as to what the lump is.
Will be thinking of you. Best of luck Hun. Sal xxxx
