Hi, I can honestly say reading your posts whilst I got my head round a secondary breast cancer diagnosis has helped me so much. I was diagnosed in October, 18 years after my initial breast cancer journey. I thought I just had a chest infection but after numerous invasive investigations I found out I had hormone positive HER 2 negative breast cancer. It is in my lung and sternum and ribs. I am on Letrozole, Ibrance and 3 monthly Zometa. Reading on this forum that i should drink water with Ibrance really helped reduce my side effects. I am usually a positive person but thought I was going to die and its only now that I feel life is for living and I am lucky to have treatment that has helped me back to work as I was starting to feel I was waiting for the inevitable. I am tired at night but my bowels work ( with Yakult) so am happy!!!
Thank you for your tips and thoughts on this journey - you have got me through some hellish days xx
