Just wanted to introduce myself to this wonderful community as yet another lady on this life-changing journey. I am 37 with 2 little boys, aged 2 and 4. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, grade 3, stage 2, ER+, with lymph involvement.

I am now 7 weeks post chemo, 1 week post anc, with radiotherapy my last hurdle to go, and feeling strong and positive.

I am healing each day. Growing strong and feeling my miraculous body withal its nerves and cells recover.

  • To all of you who find yourselves at the very beginning of your journey before any treatment: know that it gets better. Going through each hurdle you'll find your strength as you journey on. Have faith in your doctors who are doing their best to set up the environment for you to heal, and focus on just taking one step at a time. You will get there.

    You are welcome xx

  • Thank you for your post gladtobeme.  I have just been diagnosed with grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma and DCIS and waiting for the rest of the biopsy results and MRI results and your message is hugely inspiring and encouraging.  It's difficult not to think the worst and posts like yours really help.  I hope to be able to post something similar in the coming months to do the same for others.

Wishing you all the best and hope you are continuing to do well.
