Gardening therapy

Just before chemo started I planted a couple of pots of spring bulbs knowing that they would be about to flower as my chemo came to and end. The bulbs are just breaking through now so I know the end is in sight with my chemo.

I live near to David Austen roses and can recommend their roses Mermaid I used to have in my old garden was a very robust beautiful climber Xxx

Bit of a disaster area  the trampoline is weighted down with buckets of water because it flew across fence into neighbouring garden a few weeks ago!! Desperate to get patio in front of house so we not tracking through mud all the time.

I love your big cup and saucer Cheeboe. Do you have animals ? Maybe a rabbit ?

A soft primrose yellow of an old fashioned dog rose type but was so hardy, didn’t suffer any blight I find the dog rose type blooms much better for endurance and prolific flowers Xx

A few years ago I decided to go wildlife friendly in my garden so completely emptied it. Hard work but worth it as it looks after itself a lot and a great excuse for looking a bit more "natural". Built in a herb section, roses, wooded area and a big fire pit. Always found lots of baby frogs so decided to build a wildlife pond and they moved in before it was even finished.  I keep bees too so they help. I'll try and upload some pics later.  lol
