Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
I live about 6 miles from coast .... xx

i went into a well-known store and the Assistant was sooooo helpful and bent over backwards.Wish assistants would realise how very valuable this is ...
I went into a Charity shop to find a good book, and a homeless man came in with two heavy bags which the assistant said he helped her carrysorry I didn’t put my tracker ,but tried to take an intersting photo....
Now lovely, Flossie25 xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi Cannon,
Yes it is ouchy, (loosened all off for my afternoon nap!) but I gather that’s maybe because of them opening it all up again 30 hours later, I’m mega bruised!
But she did say it helps with getting shape compression right, so either bra or tight tee shirt if I can’t stand the bra daily! (Guess I’ve still got tight tees somewhere which I haven’t yet thrown out!)
I walked up the garden, yay! And disturbed a couple of sparrows grabbing garden string for nesting (we have a square trellis around which we grow loganberries and the new growth for this years fruit is tied up with good old garden string which they love to rob!)
So yes even before my drains are out I’m getting my legs moving!
Hugs xxx
Moomy
