Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Less of the wonky!!! Tee hee
My naughty boob is now so perky it points up at 90%, and the other one is drooping to the floor
But we may need an anthem for the March. Mmmmmmm come on let's get thinking

Life is like a boxing match, defeat is declared not when you fall ..... But when you refuse to stand up again ....... So, I get knocked down but I get up again. x
Local walk
The forge and a house opposite
Brisk and bright here
Pretty sure an artist lives in the house

Oh hmmmm, is the thread a year old today???? If so then happy birthday thread!
I’m in north Bucks, but busy Saturdays, would love to meet some of you crazy fruit loops though! Maybe we should wait till the days are longer and the weather rather better for a group route march though?!?!?
not a lot of walking for me today unless round a supermarket counts? It’s so grey and cold! But yoga this evening does count as exercise (honest, the Apple Watch tells me so!)
hugs xxx

Yoga is definitely on the list of good things to do.
And supermarket sweep as well
Definitely need some good March or April weather for a walk. Lunch or coffee and cake also a must
Managed 5km around 6,000 steps on my walk and ............ bumped into (not literally) a lovely young lady out walking a neighbour's dog. We chatted then she announce "Mrs P do you remember me as you taught me and my brother. "
Oh flip I did and they were a lovely family.
Not been on this walk since probably this time last year and I was amazed at the changes. I drive it occasionally but walking opens your eyes to so much more.
Now in recovery. But best part was getting home to find Mr Leo had got stuck into the ironing. He gets a big smiley face today
Hope those with snow are Ok. Hubby and I have loads planned for the next 5 days eeeekkkkk, snow go quickly please.
