Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Cooo,HappyFeet1...you are so fortunate to have sun!!I walked up to post my form this morning and it was like a winter wonderland! At first I wasn’t sure if it was snow or frost....but it was scrunchy and came to the conclusion it was frost...I know we had an extrememly cold night...maybe -3 ....but it was everso pretty!!
here are a couple of photos I enjoyed looking for.My gate looked like the entrance to “The Adams House”!!
Ooh like the spooky photos Violetsniff! Beautiful afternoon here, lots of sunshine but very cold. Long dog walk, similar to yesterday, fields, river, heaths. Still frosty in sheltered spots but spirit-lifting blue skies.
Light at the end of the tunnel....
I’ve done my ‘mile’ to try and warm up after my zoom choir rehearsal, it wasn’t that effective so I’ve added an extra layer!
Hugs xxx

Beautiful photos Violetsniff and HappyFeet1, loving the light at then end of the tunnel, think we all need to focus on that at the moment.
Forecast for here is a few hours rain now which will turn to snow from 11pm for the whole of tomorrow, so thinking I may not get out tomorrow.
Keep warm and safe all xxxx
Oh My!That Blue blue sky,HappyFeet1!!!
I was everso pleased and congratulating myself that I had posted my Passport form...then at about 5pm tonight I suddenly realised...I didn’t put a stamp on it!!!!
Oh My!!am I a case or what?So now not sure what to do....Tried calling the Passport centre but it is £3-50 per minute....so that soon stopped !!
Any ideas?
Anyway this might be my mood for tomorrow ....
Oh Violetsniff that is exactly the kind of thing I’d do ie posting your passport application without a stamp. Sooo maddening. Is there an online chat facility where you could report it? I need to renew mine and was hoping I could do it online but will need to check. Good luck!! Xx
Morning everyone. Enjoyed catching up with you and the swans, trees, frost, blues skies. You’ve all been busy!
Moomy I do the yoga with Adriene, try and do at least one a week and this year like the last 3 am doing the 30 days. Last year I completed it about the end of March! I’m on track so far though as wfh and have more time now.
Ive just started a weeks leave from work, originally it was going to be 2 weeks and I would be in Thailand now ready for my 50th this Sunday.
Never mind, I’m planning to go for a walk on the beach on Sunday and get a take away instead! I will make up for it later on this year.
Have a good day everyone and keep warm.
I’ve done some of the yoga with Adrienne (once I get past her accent which is a touch harsh!)
done 2 miles walk today too (at a pretty fast pace)

lovely wooded area....wish I was there....
land HappyFeet1Thankyou SO much for your kind advice...I did take it but the reply was they won’t pay for it and to start again!!aghhh my passport in there !!not encouraging,so rang PO then Sorting Office...they told me not to worry it would get there. So .......
Anyway...I went for ever such a quick walk today. The snow was melting, but I caught a video of this cheeky chappy red-berry ing...he got one in the endxx
Oh that’s harsh Violetsniff, fingers crossed it will be allowed to be delivered. I found that I can apply online but the photo my daughter took of me is rated ‘poor’ so won’t be acceptable! Have to find a better lit part of the house to try again.
Sweet video! Looks very pleased with the berries.
Long but very cold walk with dog and friend. Sullen skies and the river frozen in parts. More tree photos.... and a patient dog waiting while I took a photo. Xx
