Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Hi all what a lot of lovely pics and well done for getting out.
Had a very quick walk during my lunch break yesterday in the sunshine. Welcome Suloo I recognise your picture, I live near Hastings and enjoy walking anywhere along the coastline here. Hope you are doing OK.
Here are my hens making the most of a spot of sunshine!
Thanks Glade (can’t tag you as all other forms of glade come up instead!). I adore trees.
2 walks today, first with the dog and second with friend. My Nordic walking group have a lockdown challenge of finding things to photograph when out (on walks or in garden) and today’s was ‘leaves on water’. Well I found leaves on the river, and leaves reflected in the river, then this lovely bonus bird in the river! Thibk you’ll like him Violetsniff
The tree is a 500 year oak in local parkland from this afternoon’s walk. Love to all, HFxx
Oh, a beautiful heron. I have a couple of trees over the road from me and one is almost bare now.
I've planted a few acorns, so hoping that they will grow.
Sadly I can't get the attach photo to work.

Hi Amalie
Hens look like having clucking time. My daughter lives at Battle so you may have bumped into her. Just had a short walk yesterday with hubby along the sea front. Was gardening in the morning. Enjoy your eggs.
5 geese a-strutting Violetsniff! And that ‘moody sky’ is wonderful . New walk today with a friend, parkland on the other side of town. Lovely views and lots of trees. This was our coffee (flasks) setting, beats a cafe any day! Well at least when it’s not raining of course. And some tree portraits. Love to all, HFxx
