So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

Hi all, think everyone is having tech issues. Tried to post yesterday but gave up.

I have eyelashes, not that long yet and brows just growing back now. Hair is coming but just like you I had an issue with the very front, thought I was going to have a bald patch but woo hoo it has started to come now.  When my eyelashes started to come back they got very itchy.

    Hope everyone is well

I'm here trying to read posts between tech issues and being away on our summer hols. Had a primary  school reunion last night, which was great, nice to catch up, even had a teacher come along too, she was just as we rememebered and she could recognise us all even after 30+ years. PILs house is like a sauna, dh was ill so got very little sleep last night, so shattered.

Just been doing normal things which has been nice after 8m or so of poop and an emotional end of term.

Hope the mac gremilins get sorted soon, but in the meantime tak3 care of yourwelves and enjoy this weather as much as you can

  • Morning

Well looks like quite a few of us are heading for the end of treatment. Phew. Sorry if you are stuck in the middle of treatment and struggling with the additional heat.

Gosh   that teacher was truly amazing. I get young people saying hello to me all the time and have not a clue who they are. My future SIL is training to be a PC at present and one of his colleagues is an ex - pupil of mine. My daughter showed me a pic and I'd not a clue who she was. Though I did remember her once told her name.

Little tired to day so had to say no to a day with daughter. Sad face ...... think post RT day to be honest.

Friends came for a BBQ yesterday but sadly struggled to know when to leave!!! Even after my subtle hints

Have a good week whatever it holds and gentle hugs plus positive thoughts

  • Good morning ladies.

I’m going to try a post, let’s see how it goes.

We went to a wedding yesterday in a beautiful Kent barn. It was just an amazing day, emotionally it got me right in the throat several times. The weather was glorious and they only hold one wedding for the day sonthe beautiful gardens were ours to explore.

I decided to drive in the end, big mistake, as the OH had too much too quickly and we were on our way home by 9.00!! I will continue to make him feel guilty for a little bit longer when actually I was struggling a bit anyway so was glad to get home. Ssssssh don’t tell him!

I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and this beautiful weather isn’t taking its toll too much. The wig wearing is the toughest bit for me, oh boy it’s too hot. I’m gradually introducing more to my Sinead look but a wedding wasn’t the right place.

Well let’s see if this posts first time, if you don’t see a follow up with a list of expletives you will know it was a success.

    F*S!!!!!      &##** *&###@** obviously not!!

  • Afternoon all,

yay it’s Wimbledon time.....a favourite 2 weeks for me.

    @jacks77 wedding sounds lovely

i did my 60k cycle ride in aid of breast cancer care yesterday. Was absolutely fabulous, loved every minute, we started early at 8:30 and finished about 11:30 just as was starting to get a bit too hot. And so pleased have managed to raise over £1000.

dont feel too bad today but suspect I may crash tomorrow!

Appointments galore this week though and the NHS letters keep coming! Glad I’m being looked after but feels odd to be back on the appointments train again, hopefully will be short lived!

hope you’re all are surviving the heat, Leolady56 what was the the name of those cool pads, wondering if they may help the swollen boob??

right am on 4th attempt to post this.......

  • Congrats Jac on your bike ride, simply amazing.

Lindsay, I’ve sent another feedback form today as I still haven’t had a reply from the one I sent last week. Have you been given any idea what the problems are?

No notifications for me now either.

Not sure how many attempts this will take but I will keep trying.
