Sorry to hear that you're not feeling the joy of being a year post diagnosis, but from your post it seems that you have perfect reasons for not being back on top form.

I can completely understand why you've lost confidence in what you can do and new things you can try given the amount for pain that you're in with your arm and ears. Constant pain can be a complete joy-sapper, and how ever much you feel that you SHOULD be glad that you've got to an important anniversary, it is completely natural that it has been overtaken somewhat by other things not related to the cancer.

Is there anything else that you could try for the pain - have you been referred to a pain management clinic to see if they can help? 

It's good that the antidepressants have taken the edge off the panic attacks but it stinks that the counselling sessions are so far apart - mental health services really do seem to be at a stretch in more parts of the country and there are so many people who would benefit.

Glad the biopsies went well Karen - good thing you found the other one before you went! I must remember to deforest (not that I have much forest after FEC-T four years ago, it never really came back - bonus) before Friday in case they want to examine other parts of me - I'm one of those very moley, freckly people who has lots of possible targets!
