Hi moomy I travel wearing my silicone foob and never had a problem. Sometimes I let security know before going through scanner but the times I haven’t I’ve had no probs. Travel includes India, US and Europe. xx

You’ll have better temps where you are Lacomtekp Frosty outside so it will be slippy in places again underfoot. Hopefully the sun will come out soon and give the impression of warmth !! Heating on but we’ve found the hall radiator isn’t heating as it should and that’s the thermostat regulator one. Cant open valve more as stuck and it’s been bled. Therefore hubby has put a call in and someone will come within 24 hours.
Stay warm everyone and take care if you do have to go out.

Oh dear, hope the radiator gets fixed soon, Flossie25 , it’s too chilly for it not to get mended!
Frosty here, I slept late as I’d had a spell of wakefulness in the night but will get out soon for my morning walk. I need some salad ingredients for my lunch anyway! Yes I’m still having that daily if I can. Weight is now hovering at a fairly steady level.
My phone saga continues, I’d had a major fault on my landline so OpenReach dug a hole outside on the path to investigate, there were two faults which they fixed but there was also a water leak. Anglian Water came and investigated, put in a new ‘box’ under the meter and left. This was before Christmas. A couple of days ago someone from there came and lifted the cover and took photos then today OpenReach came and it had obviously filled up again, so there’s pumped water nicely freezing on road and gutter….
hmmm, will it ever get filled and properly fixed?

Gosh! Flossie25 I hope you get heating fixed and moomy I've missed the start of this saga but geez it sounds ridiculous....
It's proper snow here in Scotland !! And I'm travelling to glasgow to see my most amazing 5yo goddaughter!!! Have made it to bus station okay, am like a very slow moving zombie I'm soooo fatigued (still trying to work out how best to manage life). But no changes and I'll get met at the other end. Hoping my cat sitters make it back okay today, but I have a key safe and many many people to ask if not xx
Goodness, stay safe all!
Glasgow-bound, BoxOfFrogs ? Son was there for 5 years at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music (as it was called then) studying cello and piano. He sadly had German measles in his third year which affected all his small joints so was unable to take that years exams, so thankfully was enabled to repeat a year. We got to know Glasgow central a bit., he was in a shared flat in the now demolished YMCA (Springburn) but then we found a flat towards The Barras in the east.
Daughter has gone for a lung function test in Oxford, then to spend a couple of nights with friends in Henley on Thames.
