Thank you I will do . Other half is unwell with D & V. In carer mode this week end as well. Life can be a bit better fca s..t storm sometimes. I still have a cat, an older one. Miss my young black boy though. Xxx
moomy I hope you start to feel better soon, awful feeling so lousy. I too am allergic to penicillin and erythromycin so know it’s a challenge with antibiotics Sabrina22 really sorry about your cat, awful loosing a beloved pet, it really hurts, huge hugs Galligirl I’m so sorry to hear your news, it’s so unfair that you have to go through so much again, same for all the fruit loops who have reoccurrences or new diagnosis, much love to you x
Hope everyone is ok in this horrible weather, I need to go out and walk the dog but am finding lots of things to distract myself with indoors x
It is mid-morning and Tiki-cat is being very insistent that she hasn't had breakfast. And I have no memory of feeding her. But her morning food is gone from the fridge... Ohhhhhhh painkiller problems!! I strongly suspect I have fed her on autopilot when still mostly asleep. Tiki has a history of getting second breakfasts despite living in a one-hooman household.
And ohhhhhh LP is adorable dressed up!!!
moomy Antibiotics are rough but hope they get rid of the infection. How are you feeling today?
Harvestmoon hope recovery is going in the right direction even with the stomach curses of antibiotics
Sabrina22 Of course you miss black boy (((hugs))) cats (and all living things really) have such individual characters. I've found that I miss the 'person' but also their role as a cat if that makes sense? Nothing replaces them but other animals can be a comfort. Hope your OH gets better soon, and also look after you.
Take care all, I'm going to continue locking wills with Tiki and telling her she has been fed!!!
Ring radiotherapy unit and explain travelling times vary at different times of the day, I was lucky I had 15 sessions but unit literally 5 minute drive away. However they clearly looked at travel times because I was asked if I'd take the 8am /8,30 slots as it helps out those who travel further. Some women stayed in a closed ward funded by Maggie's as travelling too far. They had 7.30am appointments usually! I did say I was happy for them to change my appointment time at short notice as close by - they took me up on this with a call at 7am one day to come asap! A quick shower and on bed by 7.15!
Jackiewackie10 , yes, I had mostly 9.40 ish appointments for rads, as they knew I was a couple of hours away and had to be ready for transport, think my latest was one of the 3 weeks at 10.30, a lie-in for me!
ask, they can always say no. Plus around the first week I had a revised timetable given to me so had to phone transport and re-arrange.
Thanks, Anna12345 and BoxOfFrogs my UTI symptoms are no more (phew!) and after a decent sleep (and a shower!) plus my 6-weekly hair appointment I feel LOADS better. Still tired, so an afternoon nap is on the cards….
BoxOfFrogs (I do love your user name!) pets do the ‘I’m starved and you haven’t EVER fed me’ thing very well, daughter’s shared dog is expert at it!

Well Friday night in the pub at 6pm everyone's phone made loud noise and we had Govt.red alert for the storm. An hour later, in different pub we all got the warning again! We were just out with another couple and we all drunk too much and ended night like youngsters with a curry! Such a good night I tipped uber driver twice ! Yesterday not such a good day - never drinking again! Had to go out to spa day, but when we arrived the facilities we wanted to use out of service! We'd detoured to get there due to fallen trees closing roads! Secretly we breathed a sigh of relief ! Sadly loads of big old trees down on roads & in parks. Roads closed, a few cars dented and the wind was horrendous last. Thankfully no one seriously injured. Today is now windy but glorious sunshine .
Goodness Grogg but so glad nobody got hurt, I did read that 2 separate incidents of trees falling on cars had killed two people.
I’ve seen wild films of Cornish coast with huge waves, also of Weston Super Mare.
It’s still miserable here, went out with my dryrobe (Mountain Warehouse- in their sale, version) and wellies to my hairdresser, she called me a blue blob
stay safe, all

Thankfully the weather has now settled but did decide not to go on 3 hour train journey today (day trip) due to the uncertainty. Thought if there’s too much delay or last minute cancellation's we’d meet ourselves coming back
