Bless you WhatHappened and  moomy  I really feel for you both. That sleepy fairy dust is great when it's working, but really frustrating when it decides not to work. I hope you both sleep well tonight.

I have an oncology check up appointment coming up this Thursday lunchtime. I'm sure all will be fine, but isn't it silly how we all start to get wound up and allow our imaginations to run riot as the date nears?

Good luck to everyone who have appointments/ treatments or are sitting awaiting results. My turn to take a handful of that sleepy fairy dust...I have a feeling I'm going to need it tonight.

 Dicha  totally understand the anxiety that comes with EVERY oncology appointment! Totally normal, but bloody frustrating! LP would be happy to join you on Thursday if you would like a furry friend? Xx

 LondonLass  tell LP I would love his company. He will have to get his bag packed a bit earlier than usual, because he's got to travel here to me in Spain. Make sure he packs his shorts and sun cream, it's pretty warm over here at the moment. I'll make sure he gets loads of delicious Spanish pastries to keep his energy levels up!

I’ve not caught up with all posts but hope everyone is having the best day/week they possibly can.

Still in India. Got absolutely drenched last night walking back from shops. I need to remember to take brolly with me as it is monsoon season !!

Found a Pavers shoe shop in domestic departures of an airport in Kerala. Our local Pavers had recently closed !!

Well Dicha I mentioned to LP that he would probably need to head over to you tomorrow. So he would be ready to go with you on Thursday.

Turned around to get his bag ready to pack, looked back and…….

He was ready to go!! 

Bless him, he is super excited about seeing Aunty Dicha and even more excited about playing in the sand and going swimming! So looks like you’ll be taking him for a day out before/after your appointment! Sorry!!  Xx

Oh it's such a pain they move surgery date.  In January my daughter had call Thursday to say surgery for broken elbow next Tuesday in Ive hospital, - we did a reccy to find ward as told separate enter and hard to find,  While in car had call to say delayed to Wednesday in different hospital.  Then Friday another call to say changing date if possible to Monday.  Sunday night another call but thankfully only ward to say no need to come 7am as on afternoon list so 11am fine.  It went ahead!

 I've been with my sister a few times sitting waiting in windowless room with other people for day surgery - she has bowel condition & stoma.  Thankfully apart from once hers always gone ahead.  I often wonder how they'd feel if treated like this.  We work ourselves up and there's always one person who relieves their anxiety by chatting nonsense to me !  Oh that's just reminded me - I was waiting for hubby who was having a specialised CT and he had to be accompanied and I had to wait in certain room.  There's a man there with his elderly MIL while his Mother having scan.  He was not only a chatter but a farter!  Honestly he just kept letting them rip & ir was small room.  Then I noticed his jeans had a massive rip!  That was a long hour !

 bongobetsy that’s such a pest, hope it goes ahead when rescheduled though. 

I remember we had to phone when daughter needed a node removing for diagnosis and they said there wasn’t a bed, I asked if it could be done as day surgery which of course it could, and then it went ahead ok.

of sand to play with, the sea is warm and calm....somehow i think he will not want to come back to you for a while!!
