  • Oh  your poor nose xx Yes Ted is fully grown now. He is lovely and quite easy to keep. He lives in the kitchen he has a house but I don't lock him in he is free in the kitchen. He has a bedroom area and a toilet and he always wees and poos in there on newspaper which I change immediately. He seems to be quite happy, sometimes he has a run round the house, but is tired after. We have cuddles every day. I am hoping he lives longer than the Guinea pigs.

Sorry for being a bunny bore. Will find a pic of him xxx

  •   , he’s just so sweet!

Yes, nose is so annoying as it’s at the tail end of a cold so I guess the blood vessel must have been irritated by blowing my nose anyway, I’d felt quite rough on Thursday but it only lasted the day (but the nose!!! Pah!) Think I need it checking out if it carries on over the weekend. Always chooses a time when I’m doing two things at least, at once!

    Hey-ho.

Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

    hugs xxx

  • Owww  it was your photo of your daughter in a dry robe that I first heard about them - making my own conclusion that you put them on to get changed in ..... I'm thinking I may have this slightly wrong.

Absolutely loving your daughter's mug - its great ..... again another reason to have a 'laugh' button.

you are so right about the various church buildings and the stained glass windows - often most tell a story and when you think back how these buildings and locations where designed most of the stained windows are placed to receive the sunlight - the depth of colours too the reds and blues, well all of them when you think how they were made all those (possibly 100's of ) years ago.... incredible xxx

.... Ted is so lovely, absolutely adorable - supper cuddles.

I hope all the Fruit Loops are okay - new Fruit Loops please never sit at home or wherever worrying there is so much knowledge in this group - any questions just jump in and ask away (no questions are silly - we all totally understand).

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday xxxx

I'm hoping this makes sense - only my mind says one thing and my fingers type whatever they like x
  • Good morning....  I am sorry I confused you. Just my warped sense of humour I'm afraid.....we did have real snow but it went after two days. We managed to go out on Friday to spend our money in the sales. Mum bought herself a smart jacket. Longer coats get caught up in the chair wheels....

She still has a sense of style ( It's faux fur).....

We have more snow forecast for today and at the moment low minus temps. No sun yet..... The kitchen this morning was the coldest this winter. Luckily I was up early, lit the fire and it's cosy now.

Don't get too cold today and over the next few days. I've just watched the UK weather on the BBC. It isn't nice for most of you. Take care if you have to go out for treatments or appointments or work. Otherwise get out the craft box and take a few days off...... I am making a jumper combining two patterns and an idea I saw in a shop. I should get plenty done today as we won't go out......

    Take care.

  • Yes   you can changed under them  daughter also has a large  towelling hoodie poncho style that she can wriggle about in and get dry- ish . Dry coat is very large for her but means joggers etc can fit under in winter . Once dry she drives home with dry robe on . Skin can still be damp hence the saying dry robe no knickers ….I just hope she not ever stopped by police Joy she’d never be taken for sensible looking like a right clip ! Joy

Julie was lucky her dry robe was last one in outlet Mountain Warehouse half price nice manager then decided he would reduce again so she would buy it .  I agree with you would be very handy after using facilities getting back to goldie but expensive . Depends how much you would use it . Julie keeps hers in car so if she is on gate/ playground duty at school she will wear it in stormy weather .

One step at a time and ...Breathe !

  • Dry robe no knickers that made me laugh. I'm sure the replace the wet ones with dry soon enough in these weathers. Some of my dance group swim or dip all year round. I can bear being cold, I think my heart would stop.

  • Even tho I can’t do wild swimming any more, the dryrobe is used daily. I snuggle under it every afternoon for a nap, and wear it for cold/rainy walks, and for sitting outside the cafe birdwatching  It was a super present from my daughter. She, husband and one daughter plus friends all have them for wild swimming. Husband never wears a wetsuit even in winter! Xx

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  • Snuggle not wiggle!

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!

  •    the oncologist here in Spain just said the results are good, no need to worry this time round.....certainly keeps you grounded! But yes, I get you, it's really difficult for others to appreciate the feeling we all have with each and every 'routine' appointment
