Hi London Lass
I suffer with reflux acid. Feels sometimes like I am having a heart attack. Last time I saw the Consultant I was prescribed Pantoprazole 40mg in the morning and Raiitidine 300 mg at night. Also take peptic liquid after every meal and before bed. Seems to have improved a little. My next appointment is 1st Feb.
I have a capsular contracture to the implant in my reconstructed left breast and am on the waiting list for its removal and replacement. Not sure whether the pain I am in is from the breast problem or the reflux still.
Have you been referred to a gastoenterologist at all?
Have never been sick in my sleep. It must be very distressing for you.
Hope you can get it sorted soon.
Love
Sue xx
Oh Sal, I do feel for you. It must be absolutely horrid.
Perhaps, as someone suggested, you could ask for a gastroenterology consult. However, I would completely understand if you scream 'no not another specialist'. I did when I was told I needed to see an opthalmologist, and that was nothing to do with BC.
Of course every cloud has a silver lining and the silver in this is that at least you were getting some sleep.
Stay strong sweetie and don't stay away.
