.
I typed a long response the other day to a number of you as I haven't been on the forum much lately. But I got thrown out and lost the post shortly before sending. I shall come back to everyone later. But I have been so exhausted I spent most of the weekend with my feet up. I am really tired doing 4 long days. Then I have a course on a Friday which with the long drive does tire me out.
I had an emergency trip to the optician today. Turns out the floaters they were concerned about are just collagen breaking off and are normal for my age. But jmhe did tell me I now do have cataracts!! I felt a good 90 years old when he told me that. When I was younger, cataracts were the preserve of the granny generation. But then I am a grandma now!
Oohvand I went into the office for the first time in 2 years yesterday. Those of you who know what my MD has been like will be pleased to hear I stood my ground and made my full contribution to the meeting. The new lady given the managerial title didn't open her mouth once!!
Really struggling with poor sleep at the moment. I get so over tired that I almost nap at work at my desk! Take ages to drop off and awake at 4am. Didnt help partner had to be awake at 5am to catch early train on Monday. The weather is getting bit warmer but very damp today and my, my joints are aching so much mainly hands, knees and hips. Regularly have painkiller at night but anyone any suggestions. I struggle to swallow pills and don't really want to take too much but I'm so tired and weary this week. Having a moan! X
I was advised today to consider acupuncture - may be worth considering?
Yes had some last year. I've moved areas but think I found someone. Just hard to juggle time off as only 3.5 weeks into new job but definitely need to re consider. Thanks
I've been taking CBD oil for hip pain but it helps my sleep .
Ladies I'm still doing my beginners sewing. I've done a zipped, lined bag today .
such a lovely group - there's 10 of us from age 19-69 so nice mixture of conversation. Patchwork next week. I'm obsessed by Tiktok quilting.
