Hi moomywe're at home Son arrived for visit Sunday evening gone home to Norfolk this evening .First time we've seen him for about 18 month apart from 2 short outdoor meetings halfway between homes .
Will put some photos of our adventures on walking back to happiness thread .
Brother in law had scans and X-rays on Sunday . Hospital rang at 12 pm today to say come in at 2pm for results and plan which sent them both into tail spin .
Good news that there is no spread to rest of body ...nasty sounding op on 6th Sept. so as my sister said they just need to get on with it now .
It's a good team at James cook hospital so we all feel he's in best hands .
thanks for thinking of me. I know you have a lot on your plate so its appreciated. Thinking I may be subconsciously anxious about my visit to Christie tomorrow for CT scan, tattoos and sorting paperwork. Just want my dates for radiotherapy so I can plan. Going to pop to Maggie’s Centre as its been recommended. Just plodding on x
I am sorry you have had such a difficult and sad week. I hope the cardiologist has some suggestions to improve your health and it was sad your brother died on your birthday. Whilst ' Happy Birthday' would clearly feel inappropriate, I would still like to send my wishes for the coming year.....for your recovery, for your move, and for your new job. You now deserve some successful outcomes.
Take care. Love Karen
