Thank you for asking. No....we are still waiting and hoping .........He will get permission to travel for work but only if they don't close the borders. We think France will be ok but we're not sure what Spain is thinking and of course for Portugal, he must cross Spain from here. We are an hour north of Bordeaux.
Hi @Lacompkept,..what a wonderful idea this chrysanths were ️makes me feel quite sad, but happy that you remembered them.
yes the news does definately get distorted, and your post illustrates exactly by how much!( sorry! Grammar!)
I heard there was going to be lockdown and thought it was going to be Monday-so I charged round town to get my non-essential Christmas present,in a rather undignified way!
Ever since my Dad died I have kept a little aside to buy a Christmas pressie for myself from him each year.I looked after him for some tome and feel it is ok.It is fun choosing. So ...meet “camille” after the ballet.my other one is called “Odette” after Swan Lake.
Anyway..too chuffed for words.
i feel for people who will lose their jobs and all the disruption. But in a selfish sort of way, I do feel safer.
well, am knitting for England lots if Christmas pressies, and really pretty content.
Hope nobody is too unhappy with lockdown although I do understand if they really are.It can have terrible consequences.

I’m inclined to agree, Violetsniff, hubs and I do feel safer but so, so sorry for son in law whose main job had just got going again and now has to stop. Just hope the Bank job steps up as it did before (he does a secret shop job, but got lots of extra paperwork in the spring) Son too has a bit of worry about his teaching, as he’s now living in a ‘2’ area. It makes no difference to the girls though as they simply continue what they’ve been doing since very early March.
