Thanks Sal, I'm not too worried, but that does make me feel better. They aren't too high, but going up steadily. I get my MRI results on Wednesday, so will let you know what they say. How are you getting on?

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
I'm doing okay thanks! The usual ups and downs. Have a scan of my head next week which I'm a bit worried about, even though I am 99% sure it'll be clear! Only having it because I've had balance issues, again! I've had a couple of falls :-( but I also have numb feet which might explain the falls! Or I am falling apart at the seams!!
But I keep plodding on! Just as you will! Lucky Pants is currently free on Wednesday so he shall be here to wish you luck!! (If I remember) xxxx
Let me know how your scan goes! I am sure you will be fine. After all, life can't throw much more at you. Don't forget the Lucky Pants for Wednesday, as they are looking at the swelling in my inter Pectoral nodes, plus the lump on my rib cartilege. They are not concerned, but want to be sure, but with the increase of TMs, it makes it a bit more worrying. No point overdoing the worry though, as it is what it is. Xx

Sounds like a great attitude Jo, I've posted this before but I really think it hits home for a lot of us! Especially just before a scan or an appointment........

Sal - I just love the pic; it made me laugh A LOT.
Sam - Sal's absolutely right of course. We're all human though and do worry even though we know we have no logical reason to. Let me tell you a little story. When I was first diagnosed I had the usual body scans and they found some calcification and osteo-arthritis on my spine. All checked out and nothing to worry about. Fast forward 4 months and I was hospitalised during chemo. Well apparently, some bright spark radiologist saw the calcifications on my spine and jumped to the conclusion that they were secondaries. Well that set everyone off, but no one told me cos they thought I was too ill. Husband in particular worked himself into a frenzy. My medical oncologist didn't know about the previous scans as they'd been ordered by the surgeon and done through a different hospital. Finally, when I got out of hospital a month later, I had to have an MRI and guess what ... it was calcification. So there you go - a classic left hand/right hand issue. Let's hope yours turns out to be similar.
BTW my blood numbers were all over the place at different times and it's only recently, 20 months after finishing chemo, that I've finally had a blood test where every number has been in the normal range. My GP said it can take up to 2 years.
Well I got up at 6.30 am to make the Xmas cake. Definitely a nanna nap for me today. Sleep well everyone.
Hi Folks,
Oh dear - I’ve had a terrible day due to lack of sleep!
Got a letter from my new lady onc saying she wants to do another CT scan prior to Rads ( only had one last week). With this on my mind and two hours rubbish sleep, went shopping in Morrisons and left my handbag hanging on the trolley with my life in it including - my purse with two debit cards (1 bills, 1 spending) two credit cards (1 I use and a spare with a large unused credit limit, £75 in cash, all my store and coffee cards some full, my IPhone 7 Plus, my driving licence, my NHS ID, my cheque book my house keys and an irreplaceable photo of my children!! Didn‘t realise until I got home an hour later.
Thank goodness for an honest lady called Lynne who handed the lot in to Cutomer Services, I am eternally grateful to her and I made sure she knew this !!
endless to say - my bag now contains minimal items!
Good luck to everyone with scans etc next week - Lucky Pants will be claiming overtime ;)
Love Shey x
Hi Shey, thank goodness you got it back! First thing to do is take a photo of that irreplaceable photo and save it to the icloud. Disaster averted, just before Xmas too! X

Hiya Jojo, lovely to hear from you !
The photo was the ’biggie’ that made me cry when I thought I wouldn’t get it back! It is now very safe and copied too! I was really angry at myself for being so absent minded but I think it’s lack of sleep!
Just sipping a Christmas sherry or two after putting the tree up - hope it helps me get some shut eye.
My son says he is putting me on ‘parent watch’ for safety reasons lol !!
Love Shey x
Really glad there was an honest person who returned your handbag Shey! But I really don't think you have much to worry about, there are other things that are worse to lose! For example .....
Its happened to me today! It's been threatening for a while, but today was the day!!
Joking aside I am glad it was a good outcome, it's horrible when you lose something, especially things which are irreplaceable xxx
