  • Morning all.

Now usually my attitude to exercise is, I'll do it later! But this morning I thought I would set a good example for all of My Fruit Loop friends!

It is very encouraging to have positive news for a change and Captain Tom Moore is an inspiration to us all. Reminds so much of my dad, Ww2 veteran, determined (stubborn I would say). He would of been 98 next month.  I hope Captain Tom receives a knighthood.

This is what makes Britain great and the fact that we are all in this together and everyone pulling together.

On a personal note, I am on antibiotics for an infection following my mastcetomy 5 weeks ago, what can I use to very gently keep the area clean? It is in the arm pit where I had some lymph nodes removed. I do have hibiscrub, can this be used around the site?

  • Hi

I was lucky and never had an infection after my op last year . With regards keeping my wound area clean I literally just used a soapy ( dove 0% parabens ) flannel squeezed over the area then quickly rinsed off with bath shower head and patted dry . Also had some water wipes ( nothing added )

Must  be something else that would help infection sure someone else will be able to help .

  • If you would like to have a look and listen, our lass (in isolation, now for over a month, filmed and recorded in her own studio) was asked to join in to help produce a track for the NHS, its on you tube but I've been hopeless at posting a link, if you search 'NHS Relief with Beverley Knight and Joss Stone, 'Lean on Me'', I think you will find it!

Incredibly proud that she was asked, and also of her contribution!

  • She was asked to record herself playing on film while actually playing, Margaret , she’s the one and only female trombonist! I’m so thrilled she’s known well enough to have been asked to contribute!
