Dear ,
My brother in law had to give up his driving licence for the same reason...but has it back...
and am glad you didn’t have a DVT....keep knitting if you can...there is soooo much to make!!
I am so sorry about your prognosis ....and I do hope you will be able to enjoy some more ballet...
can you get it on Ipad?until you can hooefully go to see it yourself...
i know it’s not the same...
Just to say,I Went to see “Sleeping Beauty”(ROH)at 1-15 pm today at the Everyman Cinema. It was a one-off,2019-20 so I hadnt seen it before. The leading Lady Aurora was injured yesterday so a dancer called FumiCaneko had to dance her last Act yesterday and today only found out this morning that she would have to stand in again for Aurora for the entire ballet. She was meant to be the Lilac Fairy.
Anyway I am glad she stood in she was a wonderful ballerina, finding her balance perfectly sometimes, when it was beautiful, but ocasionally very nervouus. She had a beautiful delicate Japanese face ...expressive with enormous features...and a wanting-to-please smile,at all times. When she did the Rose D’Agio you could see the effortand fear in her face...but she manged with a final fling of her arms in the air!The audience were breathless for her,and Darcy Bussell had helped her with the last-minute choreography...
at the end the audience broke out in LOUD applause ..and she had many bouquets of roses...it was a better story than Sleeping Beauty...The Drama!,
(PS this was written yesterday)
if you can catch it eventually online somewhere I am sure you would just Love it,as I did Xxxx

Big hugs , you are an amazing lady! You will get to the ballets, your determination will prove him wrong! I hope you get the drains snd cataract op done asap, so you can have some quality time xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Well what can I say what a bugger !! Have a couple of days rest then you show them exactly what you are made of .
Do they not know how stubborn you are ! Or even more importantly do they not realise how much ballet tickets cost ........as if you would miss the chance to see this bunch dancing
Hope these made you smile and reminded you how much you love ballet
take care
