Tablets - bane of my life!
I take 14 tablets in the morning (when people tell me how well I look, I now remind them that it takes a good number of drugs to get me going in the morning!) and I put them out onto a plate whilst my crumpets are toasting.
This morning, I opened the top cupboard to get the Marmite out and the pepper pot fell out onto the plate, broke it and sent all the tablets flying! I not only had to clear up the pieces of plate, but had to try and find all the tablets, a lot of which look the same! I didn't want the one that had been on the floor, so I then had to work out what I still had from the writing on the tablets, then replace them..
I didn't want this to happen:
What a bloody faff - let's hope the rest of the day is better...
Have a happy Sunday everyone!
Hi
All this talk about size of tablets ...I would have laughed except I was sitting on side of bed trying to get rid of bomb size antibiotic . I'd taken it at 7 am one hour before food as directed but de mistake of lying back down . It stuck hence bad hearburn etc by 8am lovely start .
So picked up phone and what you talking about ..size of tablets needing to be bigger
We were going to go to Ripon artisan Xmas market today but it been cancelled due to high winds might try Raby Castle instead. Then once I feel all Christmassy might finish tree

We call those antibiotics 'horse tablets' - they are a ridiculous size to try and take!!!
Hope you manage to find a Christmas fayre that's not blown away...
Oh my, all this talk about tablets, I wish they went back to dishing them all out in jars as these foil wrapper thingys are a pain, I’ve even had some stick so tightly to the foil I’ve had to spit bits of foil out!!!!
and why oh why do you get an enormous box for such tiny tablets? My alendronic acid are just 4 tablets for an entire month in a box yet the box is huge in comparison!
and some tablets are indeed like horse tablets, one such drug is an anti rejection one for transplants, they are enormous! Daughter has a problem with tablets due to a smaller than normal gullet (whooping cough as a tiny baby plus radiotherapy for her lymphoma) and she simply had to have that drug as a disgusting liquid!
dear Grogg, all that talk about weddings....and DD’s hair, oh my your stress levels must be way up there! I remember our own wedding, MiL was being a pain, Hubs’ family of cousins was huge, she wanted them all, my family was small. We got away with deciding who WE wanted and sucks to the rest!
glad that most of you didn’t end up posting all night....I slept so well (apart from my normal one pee) that I only woke when my phone tinkled at 9 to remind me I should be somewhere tomorrow at 9! Not sure I need that type of reminder, might delete it! It disturbs Sunday morning kips!
thinking of you all, dear fruity loops....hope today is kind to everyone!
hugs xxx

You can get 'Pill Poppers' to remove tablets from blister packs from only £2.50p upwards.
Great for those with arthritic or PN fingers - Some models pop them straight into a pill box as below.
