Hey Lynn - not taking any fob offs with this. I am an ex smoker and have had allergies in the past which is why I'm wondering about asthma. Not mentioned it to docs though. We'll see what the CT says first.

Hi Jo, I did write a reply to you but it went into cyber space to be checked by mods??? Which means it!ll suddenly appear at some strange moment.
Karen I hope you get your issues sorted soon! I am currently dealing with breathlessness and it's not much fun! I am currently trying to work out what's causing it! Which translates as, I'm trying to work out a possible cause that is NOT cancer related! I am on so many pain meds i can't help thinking its to do with that!
Anyway I need to get up! Catch you all later xxxxx
Hi Ladies
I am sorry to hear that everyone is having trouble sleeping. some of these are making me cry and it takes a lot for that to happen.
Shey and Karen I am so pleased that you both have fantastic hairdressers. I feel so blessed that I only need R/T.
wishing you all a fantastic day and sending loads of hugs.
Regards,
Wendy

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
Hi Sal, the chemo went well yesterday and today. I finished by around 4 today which was much better, but I was there from 9. I am hoping that I can hold off the sickness but at least I know what to expect this time, which always helps. How are you? Did you get any shopping done? I must amit to being a very frustrated shopper and as a result my nieces get money, but they love it! It costs me more, but it's worth it to not worry if they will like what I buy. I hate gifts being bought for me and I struggle to fake it. I actually told my mum last Christmas, before opening anything, that if it was rubbish I would be giving it back to her, as she must have loved it to buy it! It sounds harsh, but she really does buy the most stupid things like wicker hearts and miniature clocks, lol. She loves buying prezzies and just buys anything she sees!

Hope the Zoladex went ok today Sal.
Have a gentle hug though
Busy busy day. I need a Tardis. Then I can be everywhere at once with everything I need to do the job. Last day before my break tomorrow. I can do this.

Hi JoDec My mum used to buy dreadful presents too. Unbelievable cheap rubbish. I could never believe that she could think I might like some of the stuff, that it showed how little she really knew me. She was better in more recent years as she basically stopped going out by herself so we'd have an outing when I visited (I live in a different city) so I could choose my gift. Even better the last two years as she's forgotten my birthday entirely, as she's got dementia. I always give money to my nephews and niece as I don't see them more than 2 or 3 times a year and really have little idea about their tastes, or what they've already got. It always seems well received, especially as they're teenagers now. I always bring one nephew trinkets when I've been overseas as he, like me, loves odd things. Japan was a goldmine for that - a keyring with a toilet, including a gold poo, another keyring with a tempura prawn and one with an edamame bean, a shot glass that looks like Mount Fuji when you turn it upside down - getting the idea???
Hello all,
My nan was so bad at buying pressies that we would describe her presents as the booby prize,(!) we would always see who got the worst one...Not sure that she ever realised this!
My mum lives about 4/5 hours away. She was telling me that she has to stay in hospital for 5 days. I was giving her a list of all the things she should take in!
I just wanted to say today I was almost as excited as my class of 11/12 year olds when I lit the Bunsen burner! I am loving being back at work - but I am glad it is Friday tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.
