that dreadful Hotel not getting it right with your porrige after you had done so much preparation!!it makes me so angry!!what are these people paid so much for?!?!that seems to have started off the snowball of events...
bless you...wish I could help .... I wonder if,you could just try a little to put aside personal animosity between you and DH just for a while and revisit it all when home??(Incidentally,I feel a large letter of complaint to the Hotel in question is in order)....
yes I know,I know, that is far more easily said than done.
you are saying things in a panic and meltdown and you don’t mean them I am sure....
oh please try and rest for the remainder of your time.I know it is so easy for me to say......pouvre !!!xxxx

Hi seaspirit44, sorry to hear you are having such a rotten time. Sending you the ((((((((((((BIGGEST HUG)))))))))))). Not much use to you now. But for future reference. When mum and I stay at Prem Inn and we don't fancy their breakfasts we take along porridge pots. They are pots that you just add boiling water, assuming your room has a kettle! They have different flavours and are really nice! I think sometimes it's safer to take stuff with you so you can relax. Because with the best will in the world some of these places say YES to everything then don't deliver or even pass the message on!
I hope you can still enjoy your evening and not let this spoil your trip! Sending lots of love your way xxxxx
Hi ladies ... it always takes me such a long time to post on here... I start reading, leave off and by the time I get back so much has happened.
toxophilite .. you’ll have been such a help to all on here, me included ... sounds as though you’re busy with life in general which is good.
Have to say there are lots of you ‘on here’ who have been a great help to me and I’d just like to say thanks for sharing.
... sounds as though you’re having a busy appointment day today .. you’ll enjoy cake and chocolate and feet up later. Hope things are going ok in general and you keep out of NHS hotel.
seaspirit44 ... great you got down to London...not so great that the hotel plonkers can’t make porridge .. beggars belief after all you and OH did in preparation. When stressed arguments are the norm...you and OH will be ok and enjoy the Coliseum and friends performance, the music and the whole ambience. Don’t forget to complain to the Hotel
Snowys Mum... sounds like a good day out. I love the British Museum and can spend a whole day there.
hope you’re doing ok
Optimistic ... if I remember rightly you’re doing so much better
LondonLass.... ouch... hope you’re recovering from your day of mishaps ... at least you got your three in one day
Violetsniff ... hope you’re doing ok
Leolady56 ... sorry to hear your pericarditis is back ... just when you thought it had bu**ered off ️
I’ll have missed loads out ...
rubbish weather today... weeds are getting a good watering
xx

Leolady56 sounds to me like you need a Fruit Loop (((((((((((HUG)))))))))) too!
Sorry to hear you are unwell again. Passing you a tissue to catch those tears and offering you a hand to hold. Things will get better hun! We all have crap days.......speaking as someone who is sporting a rather large bruise from their bad day xxxxxx
Oh seaspirit , what a nightmare . When you live with constant background worry it does not take much to tip you over the edge . A hotel that can`t make porridge ??!!! I hope the day improved . Your husband knows you are scared , he is scared too ……..x
Hi Sal LondonLass. Love the cockerel pouring

I am waiting for District Nurse to provide the anti coagulant daily jab in my tum. It doesn’t hurt but stings a bit afterwards.
I have 4 months of this then I suppose it depends what happens and if blood clots disappear from lungs? I’ve got a full body CT scan in January to see what’s happening all over.
I see Oncologist last week January, I’m going to ask him what he thinks about Hyper Baric Oxygen Therapy for Chemo patients as there is a chamber not so far from where I live.
Now I’m on anticoagulants following the X Ray and CT scan last week ( developed more breathlessness), I have to look into the implications of having a filling too.
Judith xx
