Good evening Fruit Loops,
I've nipped on quick to wish moomy and LondonLass all the very best for tomorrow. I know this might be naughty but is it worth when turning mobiles off - turning the Voice Memo on and recording the conversation - so that you can listen back in case you don't take it all in? (just a thought). If you aren't sure of anything that is said - don't leave it, take a deep breath and ask 'what it means' do it and then say you have to ask as the family will go mad at you if you don't.
We are thinking of you both, sending so much love and praying that all will be straight forward - so much as moved on in these last few years even with how treatments are carried out.
I do hope Lucky Pants behaves himself - you might want to put a little stone in your pocket that you can hold - this way you know we are all there with you and it will give Lucky Pants something to play with.
Sending love, tight hugs and prayers
moomy & LondonLass good luck today and to anyone else with appointments xx
Thanks Fruit Loops for all the well wishes! Looks like I’m back on treatment alongside my Zoladex! But after just Zoladex for about 8years I don’t suppose I can really complain!! Can I?
So will be starting Ribociclib and Fulvestrant. So injections every month and tablets for 3wks then a week off! Blood tests and ECG every 2 weeks to begin with.
BCN answered all my questions and I feel it’s the best option to me at this time! So will hopefully see Oncologist next week to sign consent forms and then start after blood test and ECG. Although might leave until I’m back from holiday in a couple of weeks! Leaving that up to Oncologist!
Feeling a little sad that I’m having to have this treatment BUT feel like a weight has been lifted now I have made this decision!!
Thanks again for all the support! We can always rely on the Fruit Loops for support when needed!
Glad you’ve had your appointment and made your decision LondonLass . A box ticked and onwards to starting the treatment at what feels like the right time. Holidays are so important. Big hugs to you.
And how amazing this thread is!! An astounding number of posts!! xxxx
