    .

Good Morning All, Well done Sal, that's a huge achievement for you and first of many, fab pictures too, have a great holiday.

Well it's raining here again, just drizzly stuff but much needed. Here, by the way, is the outskirts of Belfast. I am up a hill so have a great view overlooking the city and the hills beyond from my kitchen window. Saw the most beautiful sunsets the first few days I was here, equal to any you get abroad.

It's hard to believe it's not abroad actually in some ways..... although it's part of UK  I have to change my driving licence to a Northern Ireland one, I'm classed as having a foreign licence! Lots of little things like that.... had to transfer all my details of pensions etc to here and I get pension credit and had to put a new claim in as UK one different. Very odd.

The oddest thing for me is oil. I never in my life paid attention to oil prices, other than when petrol went up, but now I have a tank in the garden I've ordered some oil, delivery tomorrow and I haven't a clue what to do! It heats central heating and hot water so dil is going to show me what to do or I'll freeze in winter.

Well toddler didn't stay last night! boo hoo… she came over with dad and baby about 3pm (he watched the match) then when he was going about 6.30pm a bit of jealousy crept in because she thought he was going home with baby and not her. Toddler meltdown!  So best not to force her to stay there'll be other times. Son phoned an hour later... she wanted to come back to gmas house but he said no as baby was asleep. I'm going over about 10.30 as he's in work and granny can't cope with 2 alone (dil away at friends hen do). Was going to walk down to forest, it's just at end of my road, so we'll see what happens.

Told you I'd bore you all Slight smile

Wait till I tell you about the palaver of re-cycling !

Catch you all later, hope everyone has a peaceful, pain free day.

    xx

  • , it's great hearing what you are up too. You sound so VERY happy and you know what? That makes us all very happy. You have made a big move, but the rewards have been immeasurable! Watching and being part of your Grandchildren growing up, will be amazing! After all you have been through, life is now about making the most of every day and SMILING as much as you can! It sounds to me as if you have lots to smile about!! ((((((((((BIG HUGS)))))))) and thanks for sharing! Your smiles make us smile! Xxxxxx

  • Mazza so very happy for you it's so exciting for you starting somewhere completely new .I often think of moving somewhere completely different but that would mean moving away from eight year old granddaughter and my daughter which isn't really the idea. Remember I love wildlife so would love to know of any garden visitors you get     good luck with the oil it will be second nature to you soon .

Lovely picture London lass .Well done and great you're enjoying the break xxx
