London lass of course you're allowed are you ok xx
Well ill add to that Londonlass
When i went for chemo on 5th, i mentioned a small lump near where they took the biopsy in nov17. The onc said something and i honestly cant remember.
So tday i foned the breast clinic, iv to go and see surgeon on thurs aft.
What pissed me off is
1 it wasnt reffered on
AS
2 it wasnt documented
However the nurse i spoke to was on ball, on my life i work in n.h.s and if we shaped like they do up there, well i dread to think , my boss is very ok most times. If we messed about like they do at breast clinic we would deserve a tellin off. However we are a well oiled machine and work well together.
Its so bloody infuriating, i mean its not a biol thats been lanced
Ooohhh im fuming,
A walk we Roland to calm down, is in oreder
Later ladies. Xxxx
Thanks Optimistic, today I went about 100 steps backwards. As I suspected my Thyroid is playing up again! GP said my blood test results were through the roof. She then called the hospital for advice. Called me back to say the Doc said to take 40mg of Carbimizole a day and to start beta blockers :-(
In other words go right back to where I was 7years ago! Do not pass go do not collect £200!!! cr@p cr@p cr@p..............
I know it probably sounds like no big deal. But for me it's just another pile of appointments that I can do without! WHEN OH WHEN WILL SOMETHING GO RIGHT :-(
That's a bu55er Sal.
And it's not "no big deal" to any of us.
Especially as we hate seeing you go through all this.
And there's not a damn thing any of us can do, apart from offer gentle hugs.
xxxxxxx

So sorry you have this London Lass of course it isn't nothing it's another issue you don't need and we wish you didn't have. Sending you love and hope it is sorted easily for you xxx
Oh Sal, that is so crappy! I'm so sorry. I think you knew it was something serious, even though you really hoped you were wrong. I can't believe you were texting me good luck when you'd just dealt with all this. You should have told me Sal. I feel terrible for just thinking of me now, when I should have been there for you. xxxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.

RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
Good Evening,
Very pleased to hear your good news JoDec - yahhhhyyyy
LondonLass, sorry to hear about the thyroid issue - trying to turn it around, at least you know what it is and can hopefully start to get it under control and more so, start to feel better.
Mrsox I can't believe you have had to bring this up, that they never noted it etc. Good job you mentioned it, it's not right, as if it's not bad enough going through all we do.
Together we are stronger, Together we can share it, Together we can talk about it, Together we can work it out.
