AWAKE.........

Im a seemstress.. however, at 18 became a croupier learnt how to play dice n poker, n all rest. For a few yrs. Then did my nursing degree in scotland, . Came home and looked after people with learning disabilities , for mencap , traied as a hairdresser while at mencap. 

Now a h.c. a in wound care n skin conditions. To much resposibility bein a nurse in this day n age plus not much more than im on. Luv it tho. Xx

I created this today - knitted him for a friend's birthday. Overall, not unpleased with him, although he didn't want to stand up for a while!

Hi Twinkle,I would love to answer your questions regarding your bleed and your news.I’m afraid my knowledge in that area isnt good enough and I would hate to give you the wrong advice.Have you thought about calling your breast cancer Nurse who will be well -versed in these sort of things.I do hope you find answers to calm your fears.It is a very hard time dor you.I went into private nursing for 7 years and then went back into Hospitals as a Care Assistant which suited me better.I agree that all training does to out if the window at these rimes !!

Food glorious food

Well I have worked in hospitality often as well as other things for years so scribbled this to start with as my very first job was with food in a pub restaurant. Included weddings and so forth...ooh the case of the disappearing Wedding cake that had been on display...where had it gone? Umm why were the velvet curtains behind the table glistening? Yup! It had collapsed and was on the floor!

Oh and one that was sort of my fault... trendy offset 3 tier cake stand...bride on the other side of room dithering over which layer to cut for guests...eventually I go to lift one tier and POOF! The other two and stand leap to the floor behind the table to the wail of the bride 'She's ruined our cake! Sob!'

Now I could see the tiers on floor and trust me, some Royal icing needs a Black n Decker to have any hope of slicing the cake, and this cake was still perfectly in tact!! Didn't stop comments as I circulated with slices...such as 'Can I have  a bit without fluff?'
