BoxOfFrogs hope things continue to be controlled. Scanxiety certainly sucks. Sending virtual hugs x
“ The only constant thing in life is change “
Hi BoxofFrogs, sorry to hear you have not been feeling so good. I am on Ribociclib which I think is similar to abemaciclib and am lucky that I havent had the toilet troubles as I am on 600mg. My neutraphils are currently on 1.28 so I still have the treatment but if it goes below 1 they wont give it. I dont seem to have any side effects from the denosumab injections. I think that the scanxiety really sucks as I had my results last week. The first time and they said it was stable. I think you were diagnosed the same time as me, September last year. I hope you are still croteching your beautiful frogs. Sending you big hugs.

Hi Lee, you're right, I was diagnosed last autumn, Oct breast cancer, then Nov metastatic. Abemaciclib and ribociclib are from the same family along with pacociclib. Glad you avoided bowel issues! My neutrophils were 2.1 last month, now 1.6 and like you, they can't go below 1 or no treatment. So glad your results showed you are stable, long may that continue!! Really want to start denosumab, I'm so limited I'm what I can physically do just now because of the risk of MSCC - Malignant Spinal Cord Compression. But am still crocheting. After my current frog I may swap to something else though... the possibilities are endless!
Sending hugs back xx
Thank you to people who wished me a Happy Birthday. It's much appreciated.
I got a few lovely presents and I went on a bus adventure to Linton Falls near Grassington. I pitched my little tent and had my sandwich and a paddle.
I made a bus friend of an old gentleman we chatted all the way there and back.
WhatHappened if you start a new thread please can you or moomy tell me because I only look at this one.
Anyway here I am at Linton Falls. Love to everyone suffering with meds and scans xxx
Lovely, Snowys Mum Glad you had a good day.

Hi BoxOfFrogs I was a bit concerned as you haven’t been on site recently, but glad the A is working ok without the dreaded . Scanxiety is just pants, isn’t it? I guess daughter will get it too of course. She’s far too used to PET scans, but of course hasn’t had one now since 2011. I really hope yours is promising in that it shows the Abemaciclib is working.
Hugs xxx
