  • Morning all,

it’s been a busy night on here so i hope that those of you who have been posting have managed to get some more sleep!

oh and I hope that hotel fire alarm was a false alarm and you were all able to get back and zzzz some more!

not sure how busy we will be today...

    hugs xxx

  • Another busy night on here! I was wide AWAKE until 4.30am! But was in one of those moods where I had nothing of interest to say and absolutely no energy to offer advice or support to anyone! So I apologise to all you Lovely Fruit Loops, especially those who may of needed a hug last night! Sorry xxxxx

Well it’s a new day and although I have no words of wisdom to offer, I will just mention......

    Thats right, it’s just....

Then all the panic is over! What you haven’t got you will just do without!

    So it’s just.....

Then you can look around the room at all the smiling faces of your loved ones and remind yourself. That Christmas isn’t about cards, presents or food! It’s about being with your loved ones, friends, family or fur babies and remembering that if there’s one thing we can all be Thankful for, it’s the fact that we are all still here and able to wish our family and friends a Merry Christmas! That’s what Christmas is all about!

So today I have woken from my 2hrs of sleep, feeling shattered and tearful! BUT I shall get up and dressed (in a bit) and then walk Bella. Before heading out to lunch with my Mum, Sister and Bro in Law before going on a train ride to see some Christmas lights! I can’t tell you much about it as I don’t really know what it is! But my sister booked it as a treat and I am very grateful for that! I shall let you know how it was later!

Sending Love and Hugs to all my wonderful friends! Thanks to all of you that sent me some beautiful cards with heartfelt messages, I was touched by each and every one of them!

Wishing you all a lovely day! Sal xxxxxx

I have just read the most inspirational book , " the boy ,the mole , the fox and the horse " it is full of simple wisdom about living well and valuing important things …..much as we do on here ! it is good for any age group , I am giving it to my grandchildren , so that when I am gone they will know how I tried to live .

Sorry some of you did not sleep , hope you have the energy you need , for what you need to do today .

Best wishes to all …..as usual …...me  x

Sorry to the poor fruit loops who had a bad night! I hope you have a good day inspite of the disrupted night!

I fell asleep beautifully but then woke up at about 4am with a sore tummy...cue the next 3 hours on the loo, haha. So despite my early night I am feeling a bit wiped out now!

and thank you for the cold head tips! I'm glad that at least all my hair is gone now, so it won't be falling out anymore! I'm hoping that it might grow back completely different just for novelty. Weirdly, my eyebrows and eyelashes seem completely intact, so I'm grateful for that.

hope you are feeling a bit better soon. At least the workmen are gone now! It is rubbish having people making a noise when you're feeling poorly.

I'm back for chemo #4 on Boxing Day - but at least I get Christmas off!

I feel fed up with myself because I was really hoping that it would be possible to continue some semblance of normal life during treatment and...no. I haven't been to work except for a few days in the weeks immediately after diagnosis. I know some people manage to take barely any time off and I'm annoyed that I haven't been able to do that. Mind you, I have a feeling that if I went into work, people would scream and run away from this bald, white faced, skeleton apparition!

    Onwards and upwards, anyway!
