Not sure what your appointment is today, but good luck and hope it goes well. x
Exhausted........gave blood 1215......short of staff in laboratory , told it would be unlikely that it would be back before 1400. Sat in reception ......got called to chemo room 1510.
but results not back .......they turned up at 1600 .
3 nurses had 2 goes each trying to cannulate me , each vein popped ....
decided they would have to go against protocol and use inside of elbow .....I had to give “ consent “
chemo lasted 1 hour ......I left 1830 ......over 6 hours hanging about !! Just hoping the hand repairs before next week .....
hoping the rest of you are having a better day .....!
Xx
Oh no as one that's experienced popped veins when nurses trying to put a cannula in and having 5 attempts in one hand. Very painful indeed, I do hope that your next chemo is a little bit less eventful.
