LondonLass Know what you mean about old lives. Takes some getting used to, if ever. There's always that bit that yearns for your old, pre cancer self and it's sad knowing that it will never come back,

One of my oldest and dearest friends is very ill. She has had a very nasty UTI which started over a weekend with rigors and unfortunately left over a weekend, so took a real hold. I’m not particularly happy with the way it has been handled by the GP, and sm keeping tabs pn the situation. I’m shocked by how much it has upset me. She could have died over that weekend. I knew nothing about it at the time. Was in Cirnwall when it all started. I think she will be OK but want to make sure she calls 111 if worse over the weekend . So worried  xxx

seaspirit44 Sorry to hear about your friend, I do hope she makes a speedy recovery. UTIs aren't very nice.
