I was diagnosed with a small posterior fossa meningioma last year about a size of a jelly bean. I'm not experiencing any symptoms as far as I know. As the tumor grows larger will their be symptoms of headaches, seizures and difficulty with walking?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with a posterior fossa meningioma but that's good that you're not experiencing any symptoms that you're aware of.
I typed 'posterior fossa meningioma' into the search box in this group to see if I could find any previous posts which mention this type of brain tumour but I'm afraid that I drew a blank.
I have found this information for you on meningioma which you could have a look through and see if it mentions your specific type.
You could also post your question in the ask a nurse section of the community and one of the nurses will try to respond within 2 working days.
When you have a minute it, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
