Hello, on Friday after thinking my Dad had a stroke they found a large tumour on his brain which they think is secondary. He is due to have a full body mri on Monday but wanted some opinions on when we might get those results? Is it immediate or will there be a further wait? He’s in hospital on steroids at the mo to try and shrink the swelling he has on his brain and am just trying to think practically at the moment.
Hi Sez74 I imagine that there may be a wait at this time of year but the fact that your Dad is already in hospital may make things quicker but the MRI results have to be read by a qualified person and then reported on so I think it is safe to say that a wait is likely.
Hope that is of some use in response to your query.
