Hi I had my reversal Op about 5 weeks ago I am finding things tough going both physically & mentally it’s been a tough 16 months

I’m sorry you are struggling after your op, but this is lot to go through, so you’re definitely not alone in your feelings. You are not long out of surgery, so things do take time.

There is a sub forum in this group for dealing with life after reversal, with lots of advice and help for those who have gone through the reversal op, sharing experiences of how they coped. You can share your feelings there and there will be members who completely understand how you’re feeling, especially in these early days post surgery.
My colostomy is permanent, so I won’t have the opportunity of reversal, but I still find the group a great source of support. We have lovely helpful members who can reassure you that things can get better, so I hope you might join us and make your own post. Look forward to seeing you soon.
