It is getting nearer now. I finished my chemo radiation on the 14th May just had my final 2 scans before operation. The surgeon said I reacted well to my treatment and the tumour has reduced. The surgeon will be starting with the robot and go from there he won't know what will be happening until he gets to to look inside , he has explained all 3 operations so I won't know until I wake up if I will be having a stoma for the rest of my life but that is a small price to pay. I go for my pre op assessment next week I am now feeling very apprehensive. I have my bag of tricks what I have to start taking 2 days prior the op. I have asked my daughter to come and give me my injection the day before the op. I suffer with my nerves as I have never been right since my break down many years ago. I know it is the unknown but hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel and where ever you are in your treatment you are all stars keep smiling and be positive
