Hi all
My other half was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in July 2023…
His treatment is Hormone therapy, Darolutamide and doxcetaxel chemo therapy. CT scans revealed the cancer had spread to his liver, but after having to stop cHemp after the 4th cycle, due to high liver enzymes they did a liver biopsy. Guess what…they’ve discovered that the liver cancer originated in the bowel…..he has both prostrate cancer and bowel cancer. His consultant says it’s highly unusual to develop two types of cancer at around the same time….wondering if anyone else has a similar experience? This has been such a dark time…..with things getting worse when you expect them to be getting better…….but we will do our best to beat this thing
Hi Goingloopy, your welcome, I should have mentioned my bowel and anal gland as well as my bladder cancer are all NED and all lymph nodes have shrunk by over 70% thanks to RT and I'm castrate resistant too which means my cancer adapts to HT much quicker, I am assuming your hubby's lymphs have prostate mets, That your husbands PSA is undetectable is great news as is his quick appointment next week, So sorry to hear he's feeling unwell but il have everything crossed a new treatment plan starts soon, please keep us on the prostate forum updated, my best wishes to you both.
Eddie xx
