I have a dry mouth almost all the time which I think is caused by the capecitabine tablets I'm taking. Any tips? I'm trying drinks, throat sweets, Gelclair, yogurt, and chewing gum also helps. Anything else? Will it go when I stop chemo?
Hi Kay B
On treatment my mum would get me to order her glycerine mouth sticks .
After she stopped treatment she never asked for them again so I assume that means the problem resolved.
Not sure if it would work for you but she found them helpful .
Take care ,
