Hi all, I’ve recently had a lot of weight loss, I have ulcerative colitis which isn’t active at the moment. I’ve just had a fit test come back as 33.20 ug/g. Last year I was diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis, should I be worried about this result. I’ve just come off a feeding tube because of the weight loss, all I know is that I have a lot of inflammation that is mainly in fundus area, nausea vomiting, loose bowels. Thanks in advance xx
Hi Jack1971 It may well be that your existing issues are causing the fit test result. Has your doctor arranged for a colonoscopy to check things out? Only 1 in 10 colonoscopies results in a cancer diagnosis but it’s a good way of seeing what could be causing your problems
Take care
