Hiya.
The father of my older two children was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in July. He has his operation 5th January.
He was told before that they will removed the bowel and bladder and then he will be ok. But they have only removed his bowel as the bladder and the bone has cancer and they are infused. I think this is correct. We won't know until 3-4 weeks if and what treatment. My childre 11 and 8 saw him yesterday. i didn't see him as his girlfriend took them. I am close to his girlfriend and his family, which helps in this situation.
The 8 year old says he had black eyes and was grey. this is from recovering from the operation . She has only just managed to get to school.
I am a single parent with also a 2 year old as well and i struggle being a mum as it is.
Thought this forum would be good for me to chat with others about the cancer.
