I am due to start my chemo in a few weeks, feeling very anxious.
Is hair loss a common symptom when having Capox?
I know the side effects differ in everyone.
Thank you
Hi Cmck I know some people have noticed some hair loss or thinning but complete hair loss is not generally a side effect of Capox. It’s normal to be anxious but sometimes the thought/reputation of chemo is worse than the experience? Approach it with an open mind and don’t be afraid to mention any issues to the chemo nurses - there’s lots of tablets/creams or dosage reduction that can make a big difference to any side effects
Take care
