Hi Smudge22
You certainly have had a roller coaster with the shock of the diagnosis. Thank goodness that it was picked up. Lots can be done once you have a treatment plan you will be able to focus on that
Take care the early stage I found the worst my head was all over the place
Im sending you a hug
Keep us updated and if you have any questions pop them up.
Take care
Ann
Welcome Smudge22 .
Its such a shock when you were not expecting it . My mum was picked up on a bowel screen back in 2009 with a spread to her liver and we were Not prepared at all . However chemotherapy can be pretty powerful stuff and pulled in the spread .
Your husbands vascular team will probably get involved too . It’s difficult when you don’t know the plan but it gives it a bit of structure to move forward when it comes through .
take care ,

Thank you for the reply. Hubby has been through it last few years with gangrene and amputations. This was just out of the blue..no symptom no pain nothing. I feel so sorry for him as he has gone through so much already with losing his toes and the pain it caused, and now this aswell, but we are determined not to let it win. Its just the fear of the unknown and whats coming next that makes us anxious. x
