Colon and lymph nodes

Thankyou cout yes i came back home hospital is 50 minite drive so came back after dropping a bag off just wished Id seen him ok now I can tell the children this wait is normal nurse snapped at me for ringing

Thankyou Cath I have not slept in 2 days but will feel better when I know more terrible shock Im the poorly one suffers with aniexty 

Oh that’s a shame . Only natural to be anxious . 
Knowing the timescales helps a lot .

Awe I’m sorry to hear that. Once he’s out of theatre as you say you will feel more relaxed. You will be in shock. 

Once you’ve had a chance to speak to him you will feel a lot better I’m sure.

He is out obviously they couldnt tell me anything doctor will ring me tomorrow I can not visit because he tested positive for covid but he had covid had christmas and was negative from 29th December so not sure why

That’s good news . Hopefully the covid will resolve and just a wee rebound .

A major step forward .

Thats great he’s out of theatre and hopefully you will be able to speak to him soon to put your mind at rest.

Thankyou maybe get more than a hour sleep now we wait for result managed to get it all took some of the bowel and re attached to the colon whatever that means thankyou so much

That’s good news . It means they have removed the tumour and reconnected the bowel without having to use a temporary stoma .

Means one less operation too if he needed it reconnected later on .

Hi,

Thats what they did with me. I had a right hemi colectomy they joined the large and small bowel together and I did not need a stoma. That’s good news in itself the tumour removed will be sent to pathology now to see if he needs any further treatment. 

Try get some sleep. ️xx
