Hi Everyone!
Just to let you know that Jay is a bit better today. He's not yet back to his 100% `sarky besom` but he's getting there. We were out today and I think a wee bit of fresh air has done him good. He had his optician appointment today and it has been decided that he should wear glasses permanently now and hopefully this will curtail the blurred vision at least. The optician herself couldn't actually say if the blurred vision was down to the chemo treatment or age related or down to his diabetes but she put drops in his eyes and gave them a thorough going over. We went for some shopping and then had a MacDonalds at lunchtime and I was so surprised that he ate it all in saying that it was only a chicken wrap. I got him his favourite custard tart cakes and he had one of those at home as well (so much for him being diabetic) but I was just so happy to see him at least eating again he can call it a wee `cheat treat`. He ate his dinner tonight too and has had a couple of cups of tea today as well he hasn't been even wanting that either. So hopefully this is a step forward (best foot forward as your wee mum says Court) and he finishes the last of his tablets for this cycle tomorrow morning, so he has a week free of those as well and this will hopefully get him back to himself for a bit. Take Care Everyone.
