Newly diagnosed...wow

Just diagnosed with bowel cancer of the ascending colon near the hepatic flexure. Surgery on Tuesday, 7/26...just kinda in awe of al that needs to be done and doing it all, but still in shock. Giving my all to the preop, testing, etc...but anyone else in shock like me?

let them sort it out.

I think of them as Master plumbers sorting our pipe work. Their work is amazing.

Yes they do the colonidcy to check size and position I think.and with me the chest ct us to just make sure it hasn't gone into your lungs,after that I got a date gor surgery

Hi Marge

Jow big is your tumour? I have been told I have a thickening in the same area and assume that means a tumour, just curious if yours is the same and what they advised, as I haven’t been told much. I know everyone’s can be different, but just interesting that yours is in the same place as mine. X
