Hello,
I have just joined to see if I can get support and practial advice so that I help a very good friend who had a Krukenberg turmor removed, 6 moths after colon cancer.
I have a billion questions but I feel that I should follow her lead, let her talk when and if she is ready.
I know each person and their treatment will be different and it wouldn't be right for me to share details about my friend but any general info on Krukenberg would be greatfully received.
Thanks
Hi Ruby64
I am aware that someone was looking for information on Krukenberg tumours very recently but there had only been one mention within the community about these and that had been almost a year ago, so I’m not sure if anyone will be able to provide the help you’re looking for, unfortunately. This is a type of tumour that has metastasised from a primary site, which I’m assuming for your friend was the colon?
It may be useful for you to ask a question of the nurses in the “ask an expert” section of the community. Good luck with finding out some information, and it’s nice to see you’re doing your best to help your friend.
Sarah xx
