Hello, first time on this forum and not even sure if it’s meant for me? My partner is having palliative care for colon cancer plus 6 months ago he was diagnosed with oral cancer (tongue) Has recently finished radiotherapy and continues with chemo for colon cancer. He now has great difficulty in eating and has lost 4 stone. Usually despite the pain he’s eager to start the day. However lately he just wants to sleep. Which means he’s drinking and eating even less. He’s disappearing before my eyes. Should I leave him to sleep or should I encourage him to perk up and try to enjoy the day. I am at a loss and don’t know which way to turn. This is such a tough journey for people caring for loved ones.
