I began chemo on 12/29/21. What is the best advice for the week off of pills after taking them for 14 days and before I begin my next treatment? Thank you
Hi and welcome to the board. Yes I agree with Kath - do something nice but remember to keep moisturising those hands and feet. You could even have a nice glass of wine - my chemo nurses said it was ok and good for your mental well-being! x
Didnt really have bad neuropathy.but the cold intolerance was very uncomfortable.I used oven gloves to access the freezer and cleaned my teeth in luke warm water.otherwise I got the throat spasms but it did ease off every 3rd week.
The finger thing along with not being able to swipe on my phone as it didnt seem to like my lack of finger prints took longer to improve.but hehho there are worse things.and its all worth it in the end.you just have to try and laugh about it.

Ooohhh do everything you CAN! (& want to) go outside, breathe in some cool air, have ice in your drink, have some alcohol & count your blessings
(these are all the things that I did to get me through)
Wishing you an AMAZING week off! Cherish every moment & never forget the simple things
Suzy
