Hi i am fairly new to the community and am normally to be found in the cervical cancer group as that was my diagnosis just over 3 years ago.
I was unfortunate in that my cancer recurred and the reason I have joined here is that I had a total pelvic exenteration almost 2 years ago. My cancer had spread but thankfully within the pelvis so I was able to have the surgery. So I think I sort of belong in several different groups really!
I had my rectum removed, along with multiple other parts, and have a urostomy and a colostomy. I just wondered if it might be helpful to join this group: while I appreciate that there are differences in the surgery, and I don’t have a Barbie butt for example, I do know what it’s like to go through this surgery and come out he other side with clear margins and no evidence of disease.
I hope that’s ok, and that I might be able to offer some support here along with the other groups I have joined. x

I am useless with technology and couldn’t work out how to do it properly so I ended up taking a screenshot! I don’t know anything about to save to a gallery...there is no option to do anything with the picture when I click on it Not sure what I’m doing wrong! x
You’re doing it right. I would screenshot it if it didn’t say save. The picture I put up was from my stickers section not avatar sorry it’s my fault. If you select the larger one screen shot then go into your gallery to just clip off the dark outline you’ll have a good size.
