Hi ,
My husband has undergone SIrt treatment on both sides of the liver. The rhs was undertaken 1st in February. It now transpires that the tumours have returned. On this side.
Does anyone have any experience of genome mapping or targeting the chemotherapy to the tumour make up.
At present we feel pretty numb with the results and not very hopeful of the future?
Hi
I am so sorry to hear that . I have not come across that although have heard others speak about it . However the staff at Macmillan helpline might have some information they could access for you .
I take it he is not a candidate for Immunotherapy?
It is disappointing to hear of a recurrence and we went through it too . My mum had further chemo then another option opened up again .
Would a second opinion be of value as some of the oncologist would know a bit more about the genome mapping .
Take care ,
Court
